Vegans of Toronto had a chance to indulge and gather with other like-minded folks at Fort York on August 8th. There were lineups among lineups for popular vendors, especially those that were selling craft beers and interesting street foods. There were a lot of bakeries selling gluten-free and vegan treats, such as Bunners and Sweets from the Earth. I wished there were more food vendors because for the few that were there, the lineups were incredibly long.
I only had the Punjabi Chole from Dishum Dishum, which was pretty good. The event was packed with people and overall had a very fun vibe. It was a cool festival to drop by, even if you weren't a vegan. Though hopefully next year they would bring in more vendors.
